text box fills incorrect
I'm using Xp Pro and Word 2003. I do magazines and brochures using a lot of text boxes with coloured borders and very faintly coloured/textured fills. When I use doPDF 6 or the latest doPDF 7 the text boxes comes out with very heavy patterned, dark coloured fills which obscure the text.
Everything else works fine. Has anyone come across this and cured it?

Hello,
If you are using color transparency i am afraid that this is the normal behavior for the application.
If you are not however please send us an example for the file having the issue to [email protected] so we can make some tests.
Thank you.

Yes, this is using colour transparency, and also "texture" in some cases.
Interestingly, when I put the same file on my son's Mac by using a memory stick, and use Word for Mac, that has the option of saving the file as a pdf and there are no incorrect text box fills or any other problems with the result.

Hello,
Unfortunately we do not support Mac systems with doPDF so we cannot say if it will work or not on MAC OS. However on Windows this is how it works as explained in the previous reply.
Thank you for understanding.
