Hi Thomas, there are some problems with the word document that's why it's not converted well:
- first of all, in the word document you've embedded another word document; this is not good because the size of the pdf will increase 10-fold, so what you'll need to do is double-click on the image (to open the embedded word document) and after that save the word doc separatelly
- with the newly saved word doc, make sure you adjust the size of the doc from page setup, as now it shows as an A4 with custom margins that resemble a Letter format - dopdf will create it in Letter format if you don't use custom size, so it will stretch it additionally
I did the adjustments mentioned above, and the resulting PDF size created by doPDF was a small 9Kb file, compared to what it created when the doc was embedded (around 600Kb) and the quality of the image is better than Cutepdf's is.
