dopdf v8 stops working

I'm using the free version of the latest DoPDF v8 with Windows 7, using the Word Starter program.
It works extremely well after downloading, but only for one or two days, after which time my documents refuse to work with DoPDF.

So I have to uninstall DoPDF and re-install it. Again it then works fine for a day or two!

Has anyone else come across this? Any known cure?

I have the same problem on a laptop running Win10 Home...64 bit. The only remedy I have found is to uninstall, then reinstall.

Any errors shown when printing?

No, when it is working it is very good.
When it stops, I get a message saying something like Windows is having trouble with the printer.
I uninstall, re-install, and again it works fine....until it stops again!
