doPDF 7 doesn't seem to work with Internet explorer 8 (IE8)

I can print to the doPDF printer in internet explorer 8. It works with all other programs that i use including Firefox but when i click print in IE8 and go to the list of printers it does not appear. I can't find it by searching for printers either.
The strange thing is that when i go to start menu>Printer & faxes it is clearly installed properly.
I am running Windows XP service pack 3 i beleive.
Any help would be appreciated.

Try installing the latest version of dopdf 7.1 and see if it does the same. Also, is IE8 updated? Then if it still doesn't show do a test by setting dopdf temporarily as the default printer and then go to IE8 and click on print - maybe this will force it to show the printer.
