I had the same problem and reverted to DoPDF v. 8. Works fine.

We have done some fixes especially for this error in the latest build - "Error creating PDF File (the specified module could not be found)"
Please install and try version 10.8.125:

I had the same problem today (2020-10-12) with doPDF v10.9.130 and Firefox 81.0.1.
It turned out that the specified folder where the generated pdf-files are saved does not exist.

Here are the steps to reproduce the issue:
1. Create a folder (temporary) where the generated pdf-files will be saved.
2. Print a document using doPDF and in the dialog window with the title "doPDF 10 - Save PDF file" click on "Browse" to select the created destination folder. Note, that in the "Preferences" section "Always use this folder" is checked.
3. Click "OK" to print the document. It should create it without an error message.

Now reproduce the error:
4. Delete the temporary folder previously created under step 1. above.
5. Print the document using doPDF (the dialog window appears again) and notice the non existing folder is still selected in "File selection" of the dialog window.
6. Click "OK" and the error appears with the message: "Error creating PDF file (The specified module could not be found.)."

The solution is to make sure the selected destination folder exists.

Thank you fschuerer for sending those steps, were were able to reproduce the bug here too. We'll correct it in the next build.

Hi, we've fixed this error in build 132, can you try it out too and confirm?

I am getting this error consistently. After some troubleshooting I have found:
-I am on a OneDrive file system, but even printing from a non-OneDrive folder to a non-OneDrive folder still creates the error.
-Printing anything from Word, Excel, or FastStone Image Viewer (this last one surprised me) prompts the error
-Printing from Chrome web browser or from Notepad does NOT prompt the error

Reverting to version 8 fixes it, but this isn't really a fix. I would like the program to work on a current version.

Running Windows 10 Business (x64) on a Dell Optiplex 3080, running Intel core i5-10500T (2.30Ghz), 6 cores, 8GB memory, Office is Microsoft 365 Apps for Business (current Word version is 2305). Lmk if more info is needed.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
