How to keep background colour during conversion from word?

I recently downloaded doPDF to convert a file from Microsoft Word 2007.

The document I created was using white text on an entirely black background, however when I converted it to .pdf the background colour became white again, which means you can no longer read the text.
How do I ensure that the background colour carries over into the .pdf document?

This is because you have the option to print background color and images in Word 2007 disabled, is not because of doPDF. You can enable that option in Word 2007 by clicking on the office button, then go to Word Options->Display and in the Priting options section you should check that Print background images and colors option. Save it and print to dopdf again.

Thank you so much!

This worked perfectly for me.
