Recently, the CorelDraw files I've converted to pdf using dopdf have had a CorelDraw icon instead of the Adobe icon. When I double click on a file, it tries to open with CorelDraw and usually hangs up. As a test, I converted a Word document to a pdf file, and it too popped up with a CorelDraw icon. I've fixed the problem by instructing my computer to always associate pdf files with Acrobat Reader, but wonder why this is happening.

After it finishes creating the PDF file doPDF will always send a request to open the resulting PDF file and Windows will open it with the default PDF viewer (if there is one installed). So doPDF has nothing to do with the program that opens the PDF, it's Windows that processes that request. Somehow Corel associated the .pdf extension with CorelDraw instead of Adobe, you could ask if anyone else had problems like this on the Corel forums.
