Word 2007 textbox color changed in PDF

Text box background color changed from yellow to dark blue in the PDF- what gives? Everything else came out OK. There was a MS clipart graphic in the box along with text.

How does one determine if a color choice has transparency? I chose from the basic colors for the background, not a custom color.

that yellow to dark blue thing happens when using transparency or if the image is a transparent png; when you choose the color make sure the opacity option has 0% in it to avoid this unwanted conversion effect.
