PDF text now displayed on a MAC when PDF created on PC

I created a PDF using DoPDF with Powerpoint 2007. The PDF looks fine on a PC but the text is not showing when viewed on a MAC. Is this a familiar problem?

have you embedded the fonts in the pdf you created?
