I make music leadsheets in Noteworthy Composer & make pdf's of those to share with others as email attachments. I can see the music in perfect detail on my computer in Adobe Reader V7. But some tell me the pdf I sent has the words, and staff lines but NO notes! I made pdf using 300 dpi, then 600 dpi, with no luck on the receiving end. They tell me they also use Adobe Ver 7, but can't see all the music. Help!

I'm having a similar problem using Band In A Box. PDFs are fine on the original computer but some kind of character substitution is occurring for the notation on other computers. I've sent Softland some samples.

I think I figured it out. After installing Band In A Box on the second computer, the lead sheets print fine. So I'm assuming it's a font embedding problem, and you need to have the proprietary fonts that are included with the notation program.
