License not Valid Error 4380

I have uninstalled and reinstalled 3X get same error message. Worked fine before upgrade to Windows 10. I have tried all suggestions I fan fine in the form. None work

This error (4380) is shown in the latest version when the service "novaPDF Server" is not started. The service should start automatically when your computer is restarted, but on some systems that doesn't always work.

Here's what you should do:
1. First of all, if you haven't already, try to restart your computer and see if the error is still shown.
2. If the error persists then you must start the novaPDF Server service. To do that go in your Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services, click on novaPDF Server and then Start it.

This is constantly happening to me ever since an upgrade about October.

Yes, I have re-installed the latest version several times.
Yes I re-start the novaPDF server and that works but I can only use it once or twice before having to do it all again. Having used doPDF from version 6 why does it now start having this problem?

Any permanent solution appreciated.

There is a fix in build 939 specifically for this issue (i.e. novaPDF Server restarting) - dopdf.com/forum/dopdf-8-t4055.html - please try again with the latest build.

Well, I updated to latest release and it worked for a week or so and now the same problem is back. Are there any other fixes?

Try restarting the novaPDF Server as detailed above. What OS are you using?
