Installation will not complete or close - DoPDF 8.5940
I've been trying to install the regular update to DoPDF (version 8.5 build 940) but the install seemed to hang.
After waiting hours, I tried to cancel the installation. Even that is not working. The software asks if I'm sure I want to cancel the installation, and when I say yes, nothing happens. It remains stuck in the middle of the install, saying "Unregistering modules."
I don't want to kill the process or restart the computer because that might damage the registry.
It's important to properly correct this install process because it's started to interfere with normal use of the computer.

What OS are you using? If it takes more than a couple minutes then the installation had some fatal errors so the only solution is just forcing the close.
