Excel to PDF conversion and fonts

I recently had issues with Acrobat Reader so I decided to re-install it. It is now version Reader XI.

Having done that, I attempted to convert my Windows Excel document to pdf using doPDF8. However, the font is now in Chinese rather than English.

Please help.
