doPDF 7.3.393 crashes Firefox 27.0.1 on Windows 8.1 (64bit)

doPDF 7.3.393 crashes Firefox 27.0.1 on Windows 8.1 (64bit)

For several years, doPDF has & continues to work great in Firefox on my WinXP machine.
However, doPDF crashes the same version of Firefox on a newer Win8.1 (64bit) machine. Previously, it crashed earlier versions of Firefox on Win8.0.
Help & suggestions would be appreciated.
