difrent compression?

hi peeps
i got some problems by making a pdf from a word file:

i got 2 word files, same size! 3143KB (in word) allmost same content !

one file is :3 word sheets with 4 A4 sheets with jpg pics

the other file:4 word sheets with 4 A4 sheets with jpg pics both are 3143KB (in Word)

when i "do PDF" with the second docx the result is a pdf with 3232Kb as pdf

the first doc comes out with 5262Kb

like i said the content is the same..??

thanks for helping i need to e-mail it but it shouldnt be bigger then 3 or 3.5 Mb

Hello,
The compression algorithm depends on many image parameters and content when processing the Word file. Unfortunately there isn't much we can do about this as each image in each sheet is processed separately and the result in the PDF may vary.

thanks for the answer..
becouse it was nearly the same content i copyied averithing from the file wich the result really smaller was in a new word doc and costumized it ...(still as word doc..)

then i "doPDF" an oh wonder the size is now 3.1 MB
now its pefect

i really didnt understud why a doc with the same content is once bigger then the other time!!??
