We recommend installing the latest build, doPDF 8.0.908. This will recognize the custom page sizes sent to it and create the PDF exactly with that size.

doPDF 8.0.908 now will recognize the custom page size "sent" to it from other programs, so all you have to do is set the custom page size in Word for instance and the resulting PDF will have that size.

Yes, please install version 8 of doPDF, there are a lot of fixes in the background between the two versions.

That's strange, did you try creating a PDF from notepad/word or some other program via doPDF?

Go to the list of your Devices & Printers, then for doPDF 8 right click and select Printing Preferences. After that click on the About tab and then on Check for Updates. You'll see there an option to enable/disable it and also how often to do it.
