Hi, sorry but doPDF only converts from a printable document to PDF, not the other way around. Do a search on google for "pdf to epub" and see maybe there are some tools to help you with the conversion.

Please make sure you have the Adobe reader setup to be the default application for opening PDF files.
Also let us know the doPDF version and build you have installed on your computer so we can test this as well from here.

You can try printing the file when you open it on the computer if the printing operation is allowed on the protected file security and then port the printed file that no longer contains the restrictions to your device.
