Re: Error 0x800D0709
You have to fully uninstall any files related to doPDF 8.6 and after that retry the installation (verify in Services that you don't have a novaPDF service still remaining). There must be something from an older installation that prevents the new files from being copied.

Can you try installing 942 again? This way it will show in your list of programs you can uninstall and you'll be able to run our uninstaller.

Re: Browse Window Does Not Close
Sorry but I couldn't reproduce this here, do you have it installed by any chance on another OS to test if it happens there too?

Re: Having to manually turn on "NovaPDF Server" service
Unfortunately something is wrong with your installation, as that service starts automatically. Do you have XP with the latest updates (i.e. SP3) installed? Do you also have the latest doPDF version?

Re: How to prevent doPDF from creating unwanted hyperlinks
It's not doPDF that automatically converts but the PDF reader. This was solved in your case probably because you opened the PDF with another reader too.

During conversion you can select under PDF options "Smallest file" to reduce the size. However this reduces the quality of the images, so be sure it's something that your publisher can work with.

Re: ()
doPDF allows ( ) too for the filename, not sure what happens in your case. But for instance, if you have a file called Test(copy).txt then open and print it the resulting pdf will have the same filename, no characters replaced. Maybe you have other special characters in the filename.

Most likely the Print Spooler service stopped and didn't restart for some reason. Go to Services, locate Print Spooler, right-click and select Start.

Re: Can't uninstall doPDF and its components
Hi,
You will need to uninstall doPDF first and after that you must uninstall novaPDF - "NovaPDF 8 SDK COM" is not distributed with doPDF so you must have either installed the SDK separately and you'll need to uninstall it too.
