Re: Cannot Remove novaPDF

Depends on the office version you have but here's a tutorial http://office.microsoft.com/en-001/exce ... 7.aspx#BM2 on how to manage your addons - basically you'd uncheck the novapdf one to have it removed.

Re: Version?

No, your version is ok. To avoid getting into technical details basically doPDF has an application, a printer driver and a service. Right now the build number isn't synchronized between the application and the printer driver (as the printer driver is signed) so we're working on a solution to have th...

Re: Cannot Remove novaPDF

doPDF (the application) uses the novaPDF Printer Driver to create PDFs. That's why you have an entry for doPDF and another one for the printer driver. Re: contradiction re requiring .NET

doPDF 7 won't be developed anymore so we're not going to release a .NET version for it.
However, Windows 7/8 already come with .NET pre-installed so this shouldn't be an inconvenience.

Re: The new installer

That's true, the add-ins are still downloaded in the event that you decide to install them at a later date.

Re: define paper sizes

In version 8 there are a lot of new predefined sizes compared to version 7, so we removed the temporary custom page size feature - we'll consider adding it back in the next version.

Re: contradiction re requiring .NET

Yes, doPDF 8 now requires .NET and it needs that mainly due to the integration with the addins for Microsoft Office. You can avoid .NET by using version 7, right now there aren't incompatibilities with the existing OS - the downside is you don't get the add-ins for Microsoft office and the automatic...

Re: Inconsistent Version Numbers

This is something we're still working on, to have sync'ed versions between the printer driver and the application.
