This was solved, the problem was actually because an older version of doPDF was being used. So if anyone else has this problem upgrading to the latest version should fix it: http://www.dopdf.com/download/setup/dopdf.exe

We'll add this in the next build, released most likely in 2 weeks - it'll be a checkbox to set that specific folder as default every time.

It's not really frequently asked but you're right, it might be a good tip. Added to the FAQ.
