Re: dopdf doesnot convert excel to pdf in windows 8
If it doesn't show up in the list of printers it means the installation didn't complete correctly, so please uninstall the program (from Control Panel - Uninstall a program) and try re-installing it.

Re: Custom page size
Only predefined forms are available now, however we have dozens of them, is there one in particular we're missing that we could add in a future build?

Re: Disappointed by doPDF 8
That's true, it installs a service and uses it for the conversion. However, only during a conversion it uses CPU and memory, when you're not doing one it uses 0% cpu (and memory around 3MB).

Re: DoPDF doesn't uninstall
@paul - did you receive any errors when trying to uninstall? Would it be possible to send us the logs you have in your TEMP folder that start with doPDF: 1. Go to your windows TEMP folder c:\Users\<yourwindowsusername>\AppData\Local\Temp\ or just use in Windows Explorer environment variables to open...

Re: Won't finish printing
Can you please let me know which version you have installed, is it doPDF 8.0? Can you post a screenshot of the error it shows during uninstallation, so that we could try and reproduce this problem here? You're the first to report problems with the uninstaller, that's why I ask.

Re: doPDF V8 Fails To Install
There was an issue with the installer (no matter if it's the web or full installer) where if the username (in Windows) was composed of two words it would return an error. The new build should've fixed that, so make sure you install the latest one.

Re: Headers and footers
Yes, but that's an option from the browser itself. So go to the browser's printing preferences and uncheck the option to print header/footer.

Re: doPDF Feedback
Open the Printing Preferences window (go to your devices & printers list and right click on dopdf-Printing Preferences) and on the About window click on Updates. You'll see a checkbox that needs to be unchecked to disable updates.
