Re: automatic name with date
Hi, not with doPDF since it won't let you add macros for file names. We have a commercial program, novaPDF, that supports the feature if you're interested.

We've released a new build just now (929) can you try with it?

Re: Success printing in low quality, fails with medium or high
Can you try printing from page 3 onward? I suspect there's an image on page 2 that crashes doPDF.

Hi, make sure in IE you have the option checked to "Print background images" (click on Print Preview to see the option).

Re: DOPDF SUDDENLY NOT WORKING AT ALL - CANNOT PRINT
Hi,
Please try to install version 7 too from http://www.dopdf.com/download/setup/dopdf_7_3_400.exe and see if that works. If it does than it means something went wrong in v8, if not it's for sure MS Office.

If they have a Print option then yes, you'll be able to print to doPDF instead of the regular printer and will create PDFs.

Re: Graph backgrounds in excel are turning black when converted
Do you have opacity set for that graph background? Because that could cause the conversion error.

Re: pptx to pdf
In the latest version of dopdf (8.1) it's possible to set custom page sizes before creating the PDF.

Re: user license
Carol, doPDF is freeware so there's no license that needs to be activated/entered. If you get an error message it is a problem in dopdf and if possible you should send us a problem description at support@novapdf.com
Thank you.
Thank you.

Re: doPDF does not respect edit protection in existing pdf
Hi,
doPDF will create the resulting PDF just as a real printer would create it only it's an electronic format and not printed paper. So doPDF won't retain security restrictions.
