hi, try embedding the fonts when printing with dopdf (but make sure you install version 7 of dopdf as this one will embed subsets only and it will result in a smaller pdf). embedding fonts is somehow "packing" the characters used in the pdf itself.

<r>So now it's only the matter of size, as the quality is the same for instance when printing from Firefox.<br/> As for the size, make sure that when you do the test with the text file you set the resolution for dopdf at 72dpi and not 300dpi as it is default. Probably freedpdf has the resolution set...

Hi, it seems that it wasn't a fillable pdf file (meaning having in there fields where you could paste in information and at the end save it). So you should ask them because it might be that they want you to print that, write your details and send it back to them via mail.

hi, well you can paginate only in the original document, so for instance in your case you have to add page numbers to the autocad drawings and after that do the conversion, there's no way with dopdf to add page numbers during conversion.

<t>Hi,<br/> <br/> The comparison you're doing is a bit misleading for several reasons:<br/> <br/> - you have only printed one page using one browser and compared the results; you should try at least 2 other browsers (the same forum page prints perfectly with dopdf via Firefox, the images are sent ba...

Topic: Can Adobe Acrobat modify doPDF output?

<r>PDF files can be edited if they're not protected, so if someone has a pdf editor (Adobe Acrobat) and knows how to change the pdf created by dopdf, they will be able to do so. It won't be inadvertently since after you make changes you have to intentionally click on save.<br/> A solution would be t...
