Actually, it does say what's new in version 8.1.923 on the changelog page at dopdf-8-t4055.html - to quote:

"•Several fixes for installation errors were included in the past two builds"

I'm also having problems with version 8, as I did with the later releases of version 7, but I suspect the culprit is Internet Explorer 11 and not doPDF. I haven't seen it, either whilst downloading the dopdf.exe installer, when installing, or when actually using doPDF.


Obviously I can't be 100% certain, but I suspect that it is a false positive.
