The file (.doc) slides down out of frame

Hi! Can anyone tell me how i can solve the problem of obtaining a PDF with the content of the .doc file gradually sliding down till eventually passing one page to become part, and finally the content, of the next page. And this occurs while the file and the printer have the same settings and happens to all .doc files. I'm using XP. Thanks for any advice.

Can you please explain in detail all the steps you are making when you convert the doc file to PDF so we can get an idea on how to troubleshoot this from our end?

I click Print then select whole file, verify the page settings are compatible with the .doc file's and OK. The normal steps i think, which probably don't give you much clue. Thanks.
