Protecting PDFs

Dear Group

I am trying to build a fixed data survival tablet that does not go to the internet. I however will have an sd card on the tablet . Is there a way I can protect my Author's book PDF s from being stolen?

You can protect PDF files one by one if that is what you mean.
You can protect them on view level, general level or even print level.
