new install doesn't work

I installed doPDF. At the end it says I had no associations with apps and needed to install Adobe Reader to fix this problem. I installed something called Adobe Reader DC which did not indicate any way to fix the aforementioned problem. I tried printing from my Rhino5 drawing program anyway and it gave me an error. I know it can be done because a fellow on the Rhino forum showed me a beautiful image that he created from my file. So what have I done wrong? What do I need to do? I'm running Win 8.1.

So when you are trying to create a PDF by sending your file to print you get an error? Can you post what the error says?
