Mark a Forum Topic Closed?

Earlier this year, I started two forum topics that have now be overcome by events. I replied in those topics that I consider them closed. How do I get them actually closed?

There isn't actually a way to do that, I can lock one though - however you can leave topics as they are in case someone else experiences the same problem and wants to reply.
