How to prevent doPDF from creating unwanted hyperlinks
How to prevent doPDF from creating unwanted hyperlinks
Hello
I'm not 100% sure but I think the previous version of doPDF did not turn e-mail addresses automatically into hyperlinks unless the e-mail address was a hyperlink in the source file (e.g. if it was a link in MS Word). The latest version of doPDF, I discovered today to my dismay, converts e-mail addresses into hyperlinks without asking. Now my PDFs have hyperlinks in places where the reader must often select text, and the hyperlinks interfere with text selection in most PDF readers.
How can I prevent doPDF from converting an e-mail address into a mailto: hyperlink? Or, where can I find older versions of this program?
Thanks
Samuel
(...off to google for PDF readers that don't display hyperlinks, so that I can use my PDFs)

Let me answer my own post -- I found doPDF 7 on OldVersion.com, and I can confirm that it doesn't have this unwanted behaviour.

It's not doPDF that automatically converts but the PDF reader. This was solved in your case probably because you opened the PDF with another reader too.
