Free PDF Readers

Post by Claudiu (Softland) »

Every now and then we receive a question about why we don't develop a PDF reader. The main reason for not creating one is the fact that there are already many freeware PDF viewers out there, so if you are looking for a free PDF reader you can choose one from the list below (all of them are free, if there are any errors with the list below do leave a reply):

Code: Select all

Foxit PDF Reader

Thanks for this list. I have Windows on my computer and use PDF-XChange Viewer. I'm very satisfied with it work. This is really excellent viewer. But my advice couldn't help my sister, because she has MacOS. I sent she this list.

Nice list, but IMHO maybe a little outdated.

Many (most ?) of the Windoze readers will work perfectly in Linux using the Wine emulator.

And Foxit has a native Linux version.
