Flattened PDF, "Preflight" check for publisher

I have a PDF, created by using doPDF, that I need to check before sending to the publisher. There are over 100 images and over 200 pages of text. I am required to send a flattened PDF, no transparency.

Questions:

1. Does doPDF generate only flattened PDFs? Or does it ever include transparency?
2. Does doPDF have any "preflight" capability that would allow me to go through and search for any transparencies and/or other issue? (Adobe Acrobat does, but I do not want to go there unless I have to.)

Thanks in advance for any specific information.
