doPDF - Version upgrade

Just downloaded v8.7.943 on Win 10 Pro.
Can I just launch the executable (dopdf-full.exe) or should I first remove the previous installation?

Just launch the installer, it will overwrite the existing installation of 8.x

No, this is not necessary, the program itself will replace the old version
