doPDF Downloads Blocked from Soft112

Post by WindowsStar »

doPDF Support staff. I would like to report that doPDF downloads are blocked because Soft112 is a known malware site. They have been blocked in various ways over the years for minor stuff but they must have changed something over the last 6 months. They are now being blocked by most major filtering systems. You should have several optional download sites especially while you work with Soft112 to get them to clear up their ratings. Thank You -WS

Use this link:
brightcloud.com/tools/url-ip-lookup.php
Enter Soft112 Download IP: 198.232.127.32

Brightcloud is used by many companies to protect users from bad websites. Since you partnered with Soft112 you many not want to get a reputation of having bad software when it is the company only providing the download services. You have the right to ask them to clean up their site and request that Brightcloud re-check their site and remove them from the bad reputation list.

Hopefully that is helpful. -WS

Hi,
That is not because of Soft112. We are using MaxCDN to host our downloads and that IP belongs to them - for some strange reason brightcloud marks it as high-risk, we'll contact MaxCDN to see why that happens. Thank you for reporting this.
