I installed the latest version.
It needs a service. So if I want print a pdf each week, I need to have a memory and cpu sucking service 24/7? (provided I do not start and stop it each time).
And this should be the low resource requiring program? a service?
Trashed it and reverted back to the great 7.3 version.

That's true, it installs a service and uses it for the conversion. However, only during a conversion it uses CPU and memory, when you're not doing one it uses 0% cpu (and memory around 3MB).
